Summary
This investigation examines condensate pollution from a production platform into Gulf waters. Sand accumulated in process vessels, causing condensate carryover, while the operation was not monitored. The release was estimated at 2.7 barrels. The report records revised pollution notifications, an operator shut-in and inspectors’ observations of a rainbow slick.
