Summary
Investigation of a portable office fire during decommissioning on WC 534 A platform. Slag from oxy-fuel cutting ignited timber within the walls. Findings address combustible-material classification, absent shielding and inadequate initial firefighting water provision. Personnel evacuated to an attendant vessel, whose monitor extinguished the fire; no injuries or pollution were reported.
