Summary
BSEE investigates a compressor-engine backfire during restart at Main Pass Block 153 B platform. A sticking pneumatic-panel relay allowed unburnt fuel to accumulate before the second starting attempt. The detached muffler and other debris damaged equipment and building components. No injuries were reported, and the platform remained shut in.
