Summary
Investigation of a crane failure during transfer of a 90 bbl well test tank to Rowan Gorilla II. The tank struck the workboat and sank, without injuries or hydrocarbon pollution. Corroded limit-switch wiring and counterweight-can interference were identified; recommendations included a safety collar and drum-monitoring switch.
