Summary
A platform signalman sustained a left-hand laceration during a blind crane lift of a trapped rubbish bag. The storage container detached from the deck and fell towards him. The investigation identifies loss of visual communication, failure to stop lifting and absent gloves; the injury required eight stitches and evacuation.
