Summary
An investigation records a worker’s fractured and dislocated left index finger during isolation-valve installation on Nansen SPAR. Restricted clearance beside a separator support caused a hammer to deflect, trapping the finger against a hammer wrench. The report describes first aid, helicopter evacuation, surgery and reassignment to light duties.
