Summary
BSEE investigates crane boom damage during Conex box transfers between a platform and supply vessel at Ship Shoal Block 358. A pendant line fell outside the boom frame and snagged a flange bolt during lowering, twisting the boom. No injuries were reported. Seatrax subsequently revised its crane erection procedure.
