Summary
An S-92A approaching Scatsta could not extend its nose landing gear despite recycling and emergency blowdown attempts. Ground engineering staff realigned the nosewheels with a lever, enabling a safe landing. Examination did not establish why self-centring failed. The operator addressed servicing awareness and links between emergency landing procedures.
